Storage Server for Virtualization
eterio NAS is perfectly suited as a storage server for virtualization, e.g., VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Citrix Xen. Connection to the storage server can be established via iSCSI/Fibre Channel Target or NFS. With support for VAAI and Persistent Reservation, it is particularly well-suited as storage for VMWare ESXi servers.
Backup Server
Our data storage software is also ideally prepared for all professional backup tasks: integrated replication software safely and reliably maps data on another eterio NAS server. With snapshot replication, virtual machine backups can also be safely created. With the Client Backup feature, the eterio NAS server operates in client mode and can also back up data from servers of other manufacturers.
Hybrid Storage Cache
With hybrid cache memory, eterio NAS offers the best of both worlds: combining SSD and HDD drives to achieve maximum capacity and maximum I/O performance. Eterio NAS automatically analyzes incoming data transfers and moves frequently used data blocks to faster SSDs. The longer the server is used, the better it adapts, and the more efficient the symbiosis becomes.
